BOOK GENRES AND STYLES: Book subscriptions will contain a vibrant mix and variety of genres and writing styles. These book subscriptions follow one of The Book Shelf’s most important qualities: that all titles are carefully chosen after thoughtful digging and reading, and are often lesser known. The goal is to surprise, delight, and move readers by introducing them to books they didn’t know they wanted (or needed!)
 
WHAT BOOK SUBSCRIPTIONS CONTAIN: The first book subscription installment (delivered/ shipped to the customer or recipient the week of December 16) will contain a ‘book bundle kit’: the first book wrapped, a bookmark, reading tracker, book review activities, The Book Shelf mug, coaster and a book subscription certificate outline. This kit will serve as the kick-off to the 2025 Book Subscription for the recipient (and makes the perfect holiday present!) In addition, the kit included book will serve as the January/ February book selection.
 
For the remainder of 2025, the reading recipient will receive 5 additionally wrapped titles (one every 2 months/ 6 books in total). The schedule of delivery and/ or shipping will be can be found in the '2025 dates of delivery and/ or shipping' information section of the listing.
 
HOW A BOOK SUBSCRIPTION STARTS: After purchasing, you can expect an email shortly after verifying the book subscription recipient's name and address, as book subscriptions can be a gift to one's self or a loved one.
