Making the book experience personal

Stories have endless and diverse elements, just like humans. There are books that draw you in, and ones that may piss you off. Books that offer up a mirror into your life, and books that feel eye opening. Books that target those messy emotions, and ones that even make you sweat (you know what I'm talking about). Every book, regardless of length, genre, theme, etc., is an opportunity to steal away. A bubble of time to have a reading connection; a true book experience.
Just as a book experience happens with any style of reading -- a book experience is also personal.
And this is where I say (officially): Welcome to The Book Shelf.
This is the place to find books to become tethered to, by reading alone or with a loved one.
The place to be introduced to a story on a topic you didn't know you needed to be immersed in.
The place to become fired up with joy, laughter, sorrow and intrigue through a fictional (or real!) character's journey.
The place that makes gorgeous stories interactive, through journaling and uniquely made story scavenger hunts.
The place to give the gift of a reading experience to another; the place to connect with another over inky pages.
This is the place to make book experiences personal.
Every Thursday, a new blog post will appear, diving into an array of book-themed content. Some weeks you will stumble upon a discussion on a personal book journey of mine, a highlighted story, new inventory or featured reading accessory spotlight -- and so much more.
But wait, there's more! Be sure to keep your antennas up for additional teen and adult book bundle offerings, as well as a rotating inventory of new thematic bundles. These notifications will be shared within the blog space as well.
Above all else, this blog is intended to connect us, and to connect you to the heart and purpose of The Book Shelf. To bring you along for (you guessed it!) a new reading experience.
