Holiday Shop preview: 2025 BOOK SUBSCRIPTIONS!

The Book Shelf’s website is edging toward a pivot for the holiday season; you will see that as of today, existing book bundles have gone into hibernation until we ring in the new year. With GREAT celebration, a vibrant amount of unique, mini holiday bundles is scheduled to take its place early next week.

However, being unveiled ahead of the above mentioned holiday shop is the introduction of The Book Shelf’s 2025 Book Subscriptions!

As this brand new holiday offering is buzzing with details and information, today’s blog post will be dedicated to understanding and fully meeting what the book subscription is all about.

READING AUDIENCE: There are 3 types of book subscription choices: Middle Grade (ages 8-12), Teen and Adult.

BOOK GENRES AND STYLES: All 3 types of book subscriptions will contain a vibrant mix and variety of genres and writing styles. These book subscriptions follow one of The Book Shelf’s most important qualities: that all titles are carefully chosen after thoughtful digging and reading, and are often lesser known. The goal is to surprise, delight, and move readers by introducing them to books they didn’t know they wanted (or needed!)

WHAT BOOK SUBSCRIPTIONS CONTAIN: The first book subscription installment (delivered/ shipped to the customer or recipient the week of December 16) will contain a ‘book bundle kit’: the first book wrapped, a bookmark, reading tracker, book review activities, The Book Shelf mug, coaster and a book subscription certificate outline. This kit will serve as the kick-off to the 2025 Book Subscription for the recipient (and makes the perfect holiday present!) In addition, the kit included book will serve as the January/ February book selection.

For the remainder of 2025, the reading recipient will receive 5 additionally wrapped titles (one every 2 months/ 6 books in total). The dates of delivery and/ or shipping will be as follows:

--Monday, 2/24/25 (March/ April book selection)

--Monday, 4/21/25 (May/ June book selection)

--Monday, 6/23/25 (July/ August book selection)

--Monday, 8/25/25 (September/ October book selection)

--Monday, 10/27/25 (November/ December book selection)

2025 BOOK SUBSCRIPTION PRICING: All 3 types of 2025 Book Subscriptions are $144.99 each. All deliveries of products from The Book Shelf within a 10 mile radius are complimentary, and shipping is a (one-time) $9.99 flat rate.

HOW A BOOK SUBSCRIPTION STARTS: Simply purchase your chosen book subscription under the '2025 BOOK SUBSCRIPTIONS' tab on The Book Shelf's website. You can expect an email shortly after verifying the book subscription recipient's name and address, as book subscriptions can be a gift to one's self or a loved one.

At this point, the reading recipient's 2025 subscription is in my hands!

Note: The Book Shelf will be accepting 2025 book subscription orders until Sunday, December 15 for holiday inventory and packaging purposes. All first subscription installments/ 'book bundle kits' will be delivered and shipped by Wednesday, December 18 to ensure arrival for the holidays.
